Changing Passwords

Ok so finally someone came to their senses and determined what everyone else suspected.

Drumroll please.....changing passwords often does not improve security.

In fact it wastes time, and money.  Thank you for making us go through this shit for a couple of years and then coming up with this obvious conclusion.  I am not your average computer user and have been aware of this for quite some time already.  If some bozo wants to hack into your computer they will do it eventually.  It's just a matter of time.  That's all they need.  Basic computer principles come into play for security.  Don't use password as your password... and when you are going on vacation, you should turn off your wireless while you are gone.  Generally speaking, simple shit that you can do without wasting your time are the best security measures.  Once you start getting into paranoia, complex security measures, it costs significant more dinero and your time.  Your time is a harder cost to measure because you have to remember a new password ever couple of months, and then you forget it, and then you get locked out, which results in you having to call tech support to reset your password to some other shit and then you have to change it to something else and you have to remember a new password.  And this wastes how much of your time because some dumb shit says that this improves security?

I cannot tell you how many fucking hours I have wasted because some asswipe determines that we have to change passwords every 3 months.  We need to start educating people smart security, not this lame ass shit.
