Lamborghini Roadster Diablo VT

I was in the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa Saturday the 16th of February and I saw this Lamborghini all by itself.

This one was not parked in the valet but all by itself.  This Diablo is actually a convertible from Montana.  I took this picture because there are not a whole lot of these in existence.  From 1995- 1998 only 200 were made.

Here is a side profile view.

These cars were notoriously hard to drive but were considered luxurious compared to its predecessor the Countach which was pretty crude in many aspects.  The VT means Viscous Traction which translates that it is four wheel drive and when you have 492 HP under your right foot, that definitely helps things out!  This car was the fastest car in the world at 202 MPH besting the previous title holder the Ferrari F-40 (which could do 201 MPH).

Here is the rear view.

One thing you will notice is the gargantuan tires.  335 width.  That would be the widest tires you can purchase.

Here is the interior.  Note the warning for the airbag.
