No-Bagle-No-Bagle-No-Bagle!

When I was in NYC, I encountered another Seinfeld spot!

H&H Bagles!

So in case you don't know, Kramer worked for H&H and they had a strike, for 12 years!
You can read about the episode.
So Kramer goes back to work and something happens and he quits his job and harasses customers.  He tells new customers nobaglenobaglenobagle!

Intrepid Museum in NYC

Today wasn't that cold....60 degrees with a light sprinkle!  The day before was freaking 35 degrees.  So somehow they managed to park an aircraft carrier on the side of Manhattan.  I believe it got stuck on its way.
It is a remarkable sight to see.  The thing is freaking huge.  And on top of that, they parked quite a few planes on top of it and some more inside!  The museum is a whopping $25 to get in and on top of that you have to cough up another $25 to go INSIDE the Concorde.  Unfortunately $25 for museums in NYC is general is unfortunately the going rate.  At least the money is going for charity.
$25 gets you inside!
SR-71 "Blackbird".
This thing goes Mach 3 as in 3 times the speed of sound or 2,193 MPH.
Read up on this record breaking aircraft.
Here is the backside.

The other side.

Here is an F-14 "Tomcat"  Yup, just like the movie Top Gun.
Front View.

This thing is HUGE.
Harrier.
This plane can take-off straight up!

And you can go inside where they "drive" the aircraft carrier.
Here is where they sit.
Here is the captain's quarters.
Captain's Desk.

And you can go in the middle of the aircraft carrier.

It is huge inside!  There is a kids area, theater, models, even a lego model of the aircraft carrier.
And this is what I really came to see!
The last flights on these planes cost a whopping $7,000 for a one way flight from JFK to Heathrow
Read up on this airplane.
This plane goes over Mach 2 about 1,350 MPH.  It's cool you can hang out underneath!
This plane is long!  The windows are SMALL!  Yes, you can go inside, but that costs an additional $25.  They are going to have the space shuttle later on 2012, and when they have it, I will come back with my video camera and give you all a guided tour inside the Concorde.

NYC trip week of 1/23/11

What's up internet!  I just got back from my NYC trip.  The weather was horrible.  30-40 degrees with occasional rain.  Some days the sun was out, and at least it wasn't windy nor rained heavily so I suppose it could have been worse.  My flight there was horrible.  I had this bozo coughing every 1-5 minutes the entire goddam flight.  I am suprised I didn't get off the plane infected.

My first stop was the Nineth Street Espresso in the Chelsea Market.  So far, this place has the BEST coffee I have EVER tried, so far.

This is what perfection looks like.

This is the cost of perfection.
28.  Yup.  I can't recall ANY place let alone an espresso joint getting this high of scoring.

Next up was the Museum of Sex.  Aka, MoSex.
